Fit Guarantee
Atelier Society offers a Fit Guarantee for all purchases tailored by Atelier Society. The conditions and guarantee specifics vary for (1) in-store tailoring, or (2) e-commerce tailoring, or (3) personal stylist tailoring. Atelier Society provides no other guarantees or warranties, except the provided Fit Guarantee, and all customers expressly waive any other claim for liability against Atelier Society, except as provided under the Fit Guarantee. Details are provided for each below:
(1) In-Store Tailoring Fit Guarantee
The In-Store Tailoring Fit guarantee applies to garments purchased in-person at a retailer’s brick and mortar store which are subsequently tailored by Atelier Society. This guarantee ensures that in the event that there is an issue with the fit of a garment we tailor, Atelier Society will pay to re-tailor the garment to ensure proper fit provided the following conditions are met:
- Fit Issue: one or more of the following fit issues must be present:
- Length: If the garment was hemmed or shortened, the garment is either too long or too short.
- Waist: If the tailored garment was adjusted in the waist, the garment is over 1” larger than or .5” smaller than the client’s waist.
- Fit Issue Documentation: If a fit issue occurs, the purchaser must submit a picture of themselves in the garment, an explanation of fit issue, and proof of payment via the form on Atelier Society’s website, within 14 days of delivery of the garment to the purchaser.
- Apparel’s Condition: The garment must be unworn and unwashed and original hangtags must be attached.

(2) E-Commerce Tailoring Fit Guarantee:
The E-Commerce Tailoring Fit guarantee applies to garments purchased online on a retailer’s website and which are subsequently tailored by Atelier Society. This guarantee ensures that in the event that there is an issue with the fit of a garment we tailor, Atelier Society will, at our option, either re-tailor or pay to re-tailor the garment to ensure proper fit or exchange the garment for a new garment, provided the following conditions are met:
- Fit Issue: one or more of the following fit issues must be present:
- Size: The tailored garment is too tight or large around the bust, waist or hip.
- Length: If the garment was hemmed or shortened, the garment is too long or too short.
- Waist: If the tailored garment was adjusted in the waist, the garment is over 1” larger than or .5” smaller than the client’s waist.
- Fit Issue Documentation: If a fit issue occurs, the purchaser must submit a picture of themselves in the garment, an explanation of fit issue, and proof of payment via the form on Atelier Society’s website, within 14 days of delivery of the garment to the purchaser. *In the event that the item was purchased as a gift for another Atelier Society account holder as part of our Tailoring Gift Program, pictures of the Atelier Society account holder for whom the apparel was tailored to must be submitted.
- Apparel’s Condition: The garment must be unworn and unwashed and original hangtags must be attached.

(3) Personal Stylist Tailoring Fit Guarantee:
The Personal Stylist Tailoring Fit guarantee applies to garments purchased either online or in-person in collaboration with an affiliate personal stylist of Atelier Society and subsequently tailored by Atelier Society. To qualify for this guarantee, the garment must be selected using the affiliate personal stylist's unique tailoring link on Atelier Society's website, and the tailoring service must be provided by Atelier Society. The Personal Stylist Tailoring Fit Guarantee ensures that if there is an issue with the fit of the garment we tailor, Atelier Society will, at our option, either re-tailor or pay to re-tailor the garment to ensure proper fit or exchange the garment for a new garment, provided the following conditions are met.
- Fit Issue: one or more of the following fit issues must be present:
- Length: If the garment was hemmed or shortened, it is too long or too short.
- Waist: If the tailored garment was adjusted in the waist, the garment is over 1” larger than or .5” smaller than the client’s waist.

FINAL SALE POLICY: Purchases tailored through Atelier Society are considered a final sale and are not returnable or exchangeable, unless otherwise specified by the retailer prior to purchase. However, purchases that are tailored through Atelier Society are provided with Atelier Society's Fit Guarantee.
